The primary 700+ Seat Performance Venue is complimented by experienced professional staff, and offers numerous theatrical options to help you meet your artistic goals. Our Adjoining 3,150 sq. ft. Banquet Hall (Seats 260) offers a variety of unique presentation, celebration and event solutions. It can also be used as a rehearsal space and holding, reception or overflow area for renters of the theatre.

As a renter of the Abbotsford Arts Centre, you will enjoy the use of two large, well-lit Dressing Rooms and convertible loading bay suitable for use as a Quick-Change Area. Additional Portable Costume Racks and other standard amenities will complete your backstage experience. The Green Room, located right behind the stage, is equipped with a sink/counter, mirrors, video, clear com and program sound. It is also fitted with black curtains that can be accessed to give the room a corporate feel.

Our Workshop is primarily for theatre use - however we have been known to store props and set pieces for groups, and the First Aid Station is located in this room. The shop has also been transformed into a place for event organizers to get away from the action! When it is time to load in or out, the Loading Dock - with direct proximity to the stage - can be accessed by tractor trailer, and a portable docking plate is provided.

From preparation to presentation, the Abbotsford Arts Centre provides a contemporary community setting.

Cleanup Overview

Apologies, but we do not offer Box Office Services or a box office ticket system. It is the responsibility of each user group to provide box office and front of house staff. The box office space has a telephone, space for two staff provided by your event, plug-in for debit and a network connection suitable for use with Ticketmaster.
